To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) organized a series of activities. A Tramways Free Ride Day is specially held on 11 July (the lunar calendar 13 June) to celebrate the Lo Pan birthday.
